The Council on Foreign Relations, or CFR, is one of the most influential and powerful organizations in the world. Founded in 1921, this elite group of global leaders and experts is often seen as the ultimate power behind the scenes, pulling the strings of world events and shaping global policy to suit their own ends.

But what exactly is the CFR, and what do they do? The organization’s official mission statement is to “promote understanding of international relations and foreign policy.” But in reality, the CFR is much more than that.

The CFR is made up of some of the most powerful and influential people in the world, including politicians, business leaders, academics, and media figures. These members come together to discuss and debate the most pressing issues facing the world, and to shape policy and strategy accordingly.

Some have accused the CFR of being a secretive, shadowy cabal that manipulates world events for their own gain. And indeed, the organization is notoriously secretive, with little information about its inner workings or membership available to the public.
